About Mey

Those who know me will know the passion I have for fashion. During my studies, including for my degree (which was non-fashion related), I worked in retail. I thoroughly enjoyed not just the environment but also the chance to experience and become involved in styling, buying and visual merchandising. It was around this time that I also began sharing my daily outfits (#ootd & #ootn) on my Instagram page: ‘Meystylist’.

Social media can be an amazing platform if used correctly, to share style inspiration and for starting and growing a brand. For me I believe Instagram in particular really gave me the opportunity to grow a following, share my outfits, sell clothes and ultimately launch this website.

Launching a website has been something I have wanted to do, and have been asked to do, for a long time, but for one reason or another the timing has never been quite right. With that, I would like to bring to you Styled By Mey.

For me fashion isn’t always about following the trend, it’s about knowing what best suits you, and what makes you feel confident and stylish. With that said, all the items on this website are chosen with care and with close eye to detail. By this, what I really mean is, bringing items of clothing as well as outfit ‘combos’ that are of a high quality, comfortable, affordable and most importantly, stylish.
